Bakery Sales Terms & Collection Policy

1. Orders

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation by the bakery. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

Orders may be placed:

  • In-store

  • By telephone

  • Via email

  • Through our website or social media channels (where applicable)

Customers are responsible for ensuring all order details are correct before confirming their purchase.

2. Payment

Full payment may be required at the time of ordering for:

  • Celebration cakes

  • Custom orders

  • Large catering orders

  • Seasonal or special event items

We accept payment by:

  • Cash

  • Debit/Credit Card

  • Approved digital payment methods

Orders will not be prepared until payment or deposit requirements are satisfied.

3. Collection Policy

All products are sold for customer collection from our store only.

Customers must collect orders:

  • On the agreed date

  • During stated collection hours

Please bring your order confirmation or provide the name used for the booking when collecting.

If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible.

4. Uncollected Orders

Orders not collected on the agreed collection date may be discarded due to the perishable nature of baked goods.

Refunds or replacements will not normally be offered for:

  • Missed collections

  • Late collections

  • Unclaimed orders

We reserve the right to dispose of products after the collection window has passed.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Standard Orders

Orders may be cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice for a full refund.

Custom & Celebration Orders

Custom orders require advance preparation and are therefore subject to the following:

  • 7+ days’ notice: full refund

  • 3–6 days’ notice: partial refund may apply

  • Less than 72 hours’ notice: non-refundable

Refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible.

6. Allergens & Dietary Information

Our products are prepared in kitchens that handle:

  • Gluten

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Nuts

  • Sesame

  • Soy and other allergens

While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contamination.

Customers with allergies or dietary requirements must inform us before ordering.

7. Product Appearance

As many of our items are handmade, slight variations may occur in:

  • Colour

  • Decoration

  • Size

  • Finish

Product photographs are for illustration purposes only.

8. Storage & Consumption

For best quality:

  • Consume products within the recommended timeframe

  • Store products according to any instructions provided

The bakery is not responsible for deterioration caused by improper storage after collection.

9. Custom Designs

Where customers provide images, logos, or design requests, the customer confirms they have permission to use those materials.

We reserve the right to decline offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted designs.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control

  • Damage occurring after collection
